But I don't have a great feeling about this game.

ND has the QB to nickel and dime us down the field, and the OL to keep our pass rushers neutralized.

They also have a legit D that will be our biggest test since Clemson.

Might just be the bad juju the basketball team has started the weekend with, but I don't get all warm and fuzzy thinking about this game. Have a bad feeling it might be our first non-competitive game of the year. Hope I am wrong.

I have had those feelings too. The reason being i am not sure what our D is. Did we fix defending the running game? Can our safeties be the deepest of the deepest? I think our Oline can handle anyone thus on O , it's gonna be riley or Johnson at their size making an impacf. Otherwise, its frosh recievers and Custis who is inconsistent. Hopefully his light is lit for the rest of the season;)

I'll follow you into battle any time, sir! :vomit:

I think we run the same defense whether it works or not.

Oh damn my bad thought I was in a hoops thread.

Seriously though, I have no feeling about this game. I dont know what to make of it. I think ND is highly overrated so I think its winnable. We just need to play perfect.

We will need to score more than 30 pts to win. We might be able to do that.

ND beat Ball st 24-16 They beat Vandy 22-17 They beat Pitt 19-14 We can win this game.

Yeah but we lost to Pitt.
Just kidding. We absolutely can win. Gotta be close to flawless tho

ND has not seen a mobile qb like Eric Dungey who can also toss the rock. Not expecting defense to stop them but feel like SU can counter punch with different weapons.

“Yeah but, yeah but. Screw that. We can do it. ODU beat VMI. App State beat Mich. No fear. It’ll be a challenge, but the pieces are in place. Why not us?”
He wrote still sitting in MSG after ‘Cuse’s loss to UCONN, now watching Iowa v Oregon.

Ball St is God awful too. Their coach got pissed off at the Toledo coach cause he thought they were running up the score. Toledo ain't great this year either.

The closer we get to this game, the more you would swear we're playing Alabama. Notre Dame has a few flaws themselves. Even after their shiny, new qb took over. Nor do we have to play a perfect game either. We were far from perfect when we were a 4th down stop away from beating Clemson at Clemson.
