Have we ever had a 50/80/40 guy?

Scoop's Sophomore year:

49% // 75% // 39%

Senior:

47% // 55% (What?) // 38%

He and Wallace were the first two I thought of.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lydon's free throw percentage dips, but he's got a real chance to achieve these numbers in the next couple seasons.

Scoop inexplicably lost the ability the shoot free throws throughout his career. He actually shot 83% as a freshman, then 75,66 and finally 55. It really boggled my mind at the time.

yeah, that was bizarre.

And, along the same lines as the general theme here, pretty impressive stretch of basketball going on since JB's return for G. Dude is shooting 55/69/45 since the Carolina game. That's pretty impressive for a guard who's also the primary ball-handler. Granted, BC 2X and Wake don't make for the meat of the schedule, per se, but G is having a really nice run right now.

What's funny about this thread is that the statistical goal is 50-40-90, not 50-40-80... we cut 10% off the FT percentage and still cannot find anyone who fits the bill;) However, it is a unique stat in NBA basketball and very few have ever reached that goal
