Have we ever had this much talent at DE?

1989: Terry Wooden, George Rooks, Rob Burnett (he was interior lineman but got to the QB a lot). Burnett has to be one of the most underrated players in the Dome era.
Wasn't Wooden a LB?

It's probably hard to compare when we ran a 3-4 to when we've run a 4-3 with the way the responsibilities of the positions change.
 
They went up against a Uconn level opponent half the teams in FCS could beat Liberty can we wait a week for threads like this calling them the best unit in the country?

No sense in waiting. They are undoubtedly one of the best, if not THE best, DE units in the country.

Kendall and Alton are ridiculous. Kingsley isn't far behind, if at all.

Just look at their work last year. It's odd that you would even doubt this.
