That was my takeaway too. He recruits the player yes, but he wont do that unless he understands the family. Guessing that is what went wrong in the Will Norman recruitment. The whole vibe of the family did not mesh well with coach’s vision. That right there tells you a lot about the man.

#1 rule in selling. You sell to the “mom/wife”, dad won’t buy crap if the wife isn’t on board. Only once in my 10 year sales career was this not accurate. Can’t tell you how many times my wife and I have gone car shopping, just recently for her car and the salesman engaged me 70-80% of the time. Huge mistake.
