I agree with the first part but I don't actually think history and tradition mean all that much to recruits.

i fail to see how showing kids all the Pro and College Hall of Famers who are from Syracuse and showing the Heisman and the National Champ banner is a non-pulsed event.

telling kids they can come here and go to the NFL is probably higher on some kids lists than an education is.

Personally, I love seeing the kind of behind-the-scenes things that HCDM has been posting on Facebook. And it certainly can't hurt recruiting--so what's not to like?
