The sideline throw was ridiculous but considering we acted like we've never seen a play action fake all game he probably thought, why not try it again.

The timeout isn't a big deal, like IB said, he had to call it.

If BC had fans, he'd get killed for it, but a couple things..

1. I think they really believed that sideline pass would go for a TD. But Brandon Reddish was doing his job well, so it wasn't. Still I would have run it right up the middle.

2. The timeout wasn't as bad as people think. He called it right when we were snapping the ball, so it wasn't like it had any impact on the clock. And his D was not prepared at all, they needed to collect themselves. Our next play was a throwaway I believe. Might have had a TD right there.

BC just didn't get enough stops against an offense who had its best day. It happens. Glad it did yesterday.

Addazio called the timeout because there was mass confusion on the defensive side of the ball and we were poised to take advantage of it. It happened right in front of me. As much as I did not want to see him call the TO, it was the right call for him given circumstances

the sideline pass didnt cost them anything why is that an issue? the bigger problem was not letting the clock run on the FG try.. easily gave us 20-25 secs on the field goal alone.. our coach SS only cost us 4-5 secs by waiting to call the TO.

he meant the 3rd down throw by them where we knocked him out of bounds before the fg. We had 0 timeouts left and they could have run another 35 plus seconds off if clock kept running until the FG and even taken delay of game because were so close. I think you're talking about the 1st down run they got where HCSS called the TO the series before.

As was discussed in other threads, due to new rules, that sideline pass only resulted in the clock stopping for a few seconds.

not true as the play clock started to run when the play was over and the game clock only starts when the ball is set when the play goes out of bounds when there is more than two minutes left.

it was under ten seconds on the play clock when he kicked it....

really cant find the rule as to whether the clock resets to 25 or 40 when a ball goes out of bounds. so at best BC cost themselves 10 secs.
