HCSS's presser...

Absolutely must watch material. Great presser.

I watched it. I liked it in that he seemed controlled, yet passionate. He deferred to the unit coaches a couple times which I loved. Not so sure it was a must-watch though other than the 8-10 minute mark.

Um, yeah it was a m ust watch. Another classic. References to Charlie Loeb, the football playing days of Bud Poliquin, and what makes sexy football.

Gee Willikers that was worth watching. I thought it was swell overall.

That was great. I'd play for that guy. He gave the kids credit for all the good stuff and essentially focussed on coaching when referencing the bad stuff 2 weeks ago. He stuck up for CNY. JB and Mac have/had a great bond with the local community. It's sealed by winning of course but that's a good thing to emulate any time. He also needled the press a few times without coming across like a jerk. You can tell what he really thinks by his comments to Bud and references about the press "having a job to do" but sometimes what's unsaid is as good as what is said. I really hope we can get to a bowl. That would be great in his first year.

what ever happened to the Opposing coaches PC? do they no longer do one? Would love to hear what the other teams questions/answers/thoughts were about the games..

He had the right balance yesterday.

finally got around to watching it. definitely a must watch, especially once he gets going later on

"Being a defensive guy, I thought that game was sexy". He's definitely a quote generator. Ya gotta love that. Much better than the all-closed-up-within, "trust me", type of coach. Easier to connect to.

Now, if he can just CEO his way to generating an offense and the right defensive schemes against top 25 caliber teams, we'd be onto something.

Pulling for the coach, but there's a lot of season left, and he's got a lot to prove. Today's win was certainly something. But, Ga Tech happened. Can't forget that for now.

FSUs a transitive property wash. Maryland, BC, and Pitt are peer group, if you pretend the Ga Tech game never happened. But it did. Going 2-2 to finish the season would be amazing. I'd forget Ga Tech in that scenario. Going 1-3 would leave me all poopy faced. Not a good thing to think about.

.

There is a bit of Coach Mac in him in that sense.
