Help me figure out who signed this football...

So I work at a local Syracuse business--- and tucked back in a closet we came accross a signed Phoenix Cardinals football. I am operating on the assumption that an executive where I work probably won this at some sort of silent aucfion and left it behind. If my assumption is correct, it was most likely signed by an ex-SU player (otherwise, why would anyone have a Phoenix Cardinals football).

The signature is really hard to make out --- It looks like it could start with a P, R or a D...and it looks like it ends with an S.

Any idea what former SU Players played for the Phoenix Cardinals? The PHOENIX cardinals were only called that from 1988-1994, so the options here have to be pretty limited.

The only name I could find with a quick Google search was Dave Bavaro -- and that can't be his signature.

The phoenix cardinals became the Zona Cardinals in 1994 - so if it's an SU Player it has to be either Bavaro or Gedney.

Gedney was with the Bears in 1994. He didn't join Arizona until 1997.

Maybe your guy was a Cardinals fan and the sig isn't SU related?

It does look alot like this one - I thought the end was an S - but it's the 85. I think you solved the mystery for me - thanks.
