I dont want to get ahead of UNCA but this #21 from KST is going to kill us - he will eat dinner on the boards all day long - really hope that KST loses to USM - this kid is a total stud

Kstate , to me, looks like a shitty big east team. Enriquez is long, but has limited skill..and mind you the tallest guy he is going against in this game is 6'6"

They remind me of a typical West Virginia team... it will be a final possession kind of game if we meet.

Granted I don't know A LOT about KState. But the fact that a lot of analysts said they could beat us then watching this game; is it possible their just playing really, really bad? Or is this who they really are? People think we'll be THIS much worse without Fab?

I'm honestly not very scared of Kansas State. Biggest strength is rebounding the ball. So they'll outrebound us by a decent margin most likely. That'll happen in pretty much every game that we play in this tournament and happened in almost every game we played in the regular season. Outside of their rebounding and ball pressure (which our guards are pretty good at handling), they aren't good. That bodes extremely well for us.

henriquez will have trouble with our length in that he is not that coordinated. k st does not move the ball well at all. so miss may win this game.. losing that #15 wont help though

we play zone and not man - KJ is 6-5 and maybe 6-6 at best - I just saw him at Acropolis and Im 6-1 and he was hardly taller than me and Fair is 6-7 at best - this #21 is 6-10 with arms as long as Tim Duncan or Warwick we could really use USM advancing

I watched them a few times this season and I was not impressed by them. They are very limited offensively. It's possible that they are just a win-ugly kind of team, though.

KJ is no way 6'5. I played against him in AAU and he was at least 6'6" back then.

That's 85% of the Big East. We'll be ready.

Seriously?

i only watched them once, at home against kansas, and they were awful.

I love this theory that Joseph is 2 inches shorter than listed but the guy from Kansas State is exactly what he's listed at.

So everyone just fell in love with the fact that they are a top 10 OReb team and they beat Mizzou twice?

well you didn't see #21 at a bar; so you're clueless.

Joseph is 6'7" in the college bball world. if you compare him to all other players and their listed heights which is all that really matters. this guy from southern mis listed at 6'6 is likely 6'4 1/2" at best...enriques is probably 6'9"...who cares about actual height, its all about relative height.

basically, i dont fear teams that have slowish, midget guards...like k state...they will have issues getting shots off and seeing over our guards for entry passes.

im also not afraid at all of kstate on the break...

we have no business losing to either one of these teams...not saying we wont..be we really shouldnt

Henriquez will be a problem for our offense if we face them. He's pretty unskilled and uncoordinated though on offense. He moves well though and is long. An obvious deterrent to deal with. I consider Ricardo Ratliffe a pretty good inside/efficient player. 2 pts and 9 pts in their two matchups.

speaking of Joseph, he'll get a chance to play against his former Archbishop Carroll teammate Rodney McGruder if KSt wins.
