Henriquez is going to be a serious problem

So everyone just fell in love with the fact that they are a top 10 OReb team and they beat Mizzou twice?

Some of these guys live in a dream world - this team may be a lil wild but they are very athletic and that kid is gonna have 4 blocks and 12 plus boards against us - he'll reject KJ twice and KJ will go into his shell - we'll be relying solely on Dion and deep shooting - KJ is the key to our offense this post season and Rak on defense

Is there a dislike button on this board?

Joseph is 6'7" in the college bball world. if you compare him to all other players and their listed heights which is all that really matters. this guy from southern mis listed at 6'6 is likely 6'4 1/2" at best...enriques is probably 6'9"...who cares about actual height, its all about relative height.

basically, i dont fear teams that have slowish, midget guards...like k state...they will have issues getting shots off and seeing over our guards for entry passes.

im also not afraid at all of kstate on the break...

we have no business losing to either one of these teams...not saying we wont..be we really shouldnt
No I think KrisJo is legitimately 6'6/6'7. But you're right, relative height is all that matters.

Im a diehard fan that understand the loss of Fab - sorry for being realistic - did not say we wont win - we have excellent guard play and the best transition game in college - I just know this kid will be a problem without Fab's shot blocking

dude they lost to oklahoma twice. OKLAHOMA

WTH, they have a dude that's 6'9". We're done.

We couldn't rebound with Fab, we won't rebound all that well without him. Cooley has some super-duper double-digit rebound against us and all of a sudden anyone over 6'6" is going to grab a bajillion boards against us.

Rak played minutes against UConn, it wasn't like Drummond and Oriakhi suddenly turned into Moses Malone x 2. We'll be shitty on the boards, just like always, but I just don't see a replay of that cluster against ND happening again. That was just an incredibly ty game.

:)

GO RAK!

That cat would be the equivalent of kadeem jack in the big east. Without the jumper.

You can just as easily say: Dude they beat Missouri twice- MISSOURI!
They also beat Baylor.
Didn't we lose to Rutgers in 2003.
The regular season results are meaningless at this moment.

kstate in some trouble.

is unc asheville and southern miss gonna be our road to sweet 16?? cant ask for much better than that.

True but So. Miss looks pretty darn good! Good, quick guards and shooters. They play like Missouri it seems.

true, 2nd half theyve looked good, from the crappy feed im watching on the comp

Southern miss is shooting their wad right now. i hope they win because they likely will not have much left. Kstate is playing like crap...so i would fear they would be more together in their second game.

You will never find an 8-9 seed without pros and cons. If you're playing them, you just hope that the con side shows up.

Both of these teams look JUST underwhelming enough to upset Syracuse in the NCAA's... they are that perfect level of "meh" like Marquette last year.

In other words, our typical opponent from past What losses in the NCAAs?

I dont want to get ahead of UNCA but this #21 from KST is going to kill us - he will eat dinner on the boards all day long - really hope that KST loses to USM - this kid is a total stud

We've won 30+ games this year and have gotten out-rebounded in most of them.

That's not something to be proud of, but how do we do this so consistently?

Answer: Turnovers

We create lots of them and give away relatively few.

How does this all-important metric to our game match-up against K-State?

Syracuse is # 9 in the country on fewest # of turnover WE give up per game.
Avg. # = 10.3

K-State is #251 in the country.
Avg. # = 14.3

... and if we play our game right, they'll be well above their already poor average.

I like this match-up. They can beat us on the boards.

...but we'll take the W and 15-20 turnovers.

K-State is ripe for the picking.
