Kirk Herbstreit made his second start of the season at quarterback for Ohio State and played the entire game while Kent Graham, No. 1 most of the year, was benched for the last game of his college career. Herbstreit completed 14 of 32 passes for 174 yards.

"Then you look up at the scoreboard, and all of a sudden you're behind, 14-0. There's no way you can emulate their speed in practice."

Really? I think he's great at what he does. And I want his life.

Herbstreit is a pretty solid analyst, and yes, his life is freaking sweet. If he wasn't married, he'd be the George Clooney of the college football scene, just plowing through coeds on every campus he visits.

That said, he's been so dismissive of Syracuse over the last decade or so that it's great to see him finally giving us a little respect again. It's been years since he's said anything that wasn't totally arrogant and condescending.
