Today I received private messages from two thoughtful posters whom I don't know ... wondering why threads in which they had posted had been either deleted or locked. In each case, the thread in question had been hijacked by political posts and therefore had been deleted or locked (not, I might add, by me).
Let me say it again. This forum is to discuss Syracuse basketball ... and more broadly college basketball as it relates to Syracuse. It is NOT to discuss Donald Trump or other political topics.
There are hundreds (thousands) of web sites where you can discuss politics 24/7. This is not one of them.
If posters continue to hijack threads .. they will be invited to permanently take their opinions to one of those other forums.
