hey just don't ask K any of these inappropriate questions

No problem with that response immediately after a game like that.
which would mean, presumably, you have at least some problem with the question that was asked - as that is the crux of saint K's saintly answer

Nope. No problem with the question or the response in that moment. There are lots of things to rip K for, this didn't seem like one of them to me. Simply as that. But I understand and respect that others would see it as a pattern.

Well, he basically tells a student reporter that he doesn’t feel like answering that question and explains why using a student-centric example. Not a big deal.

I wouldn't expect him to go out with any dignity. Everything he and Roy achieved has been thru cheating the rules. He lost to Capel and he's done, first loss to an old assistant. Just quit Ratso.

Come on man. It was a thinly veiled HOW DARE YOU ASK ME THAT DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM -
in general I wouldn't give it a second thought, but with this king hypocrite who has over decades carefully cultivated this image of Grace In Even The Most Difficult Of Times, it deserves all the scrutiny and ridicule in the world

When Coach K asked the student what his toughest class was and said what he said he was telling that kid his hardest game, and toughest opponent, he’s ever faced is this medicore Louisville team?

No way.

He should have just said what he said then stopped before going back at that the kid about his toughest class.

Playing Louisville isn’t hard.

Exactly.
And the problem I have is that he thought he'd "teach the kid a lesson" when the kid was asking him a perfectly appropriate question that should have just elicited a simple answer. Even a simple "we have to figure that out."
it's K being the jack@ss hypocrite he's always been

The student question really wasn’t that bad.
I get K being frustrated he just should just say no offense next question. Going back at him didn’t teach him anything but what I said. Louisville is his toughest opponent of the season.

Would love for the kid to pull a Costanza - Jerkstore moment and go back at him, saying "If thousands of people cared about my economics exam, and I was paid millions of dollars to take the exam, then I would answer any question posed to me about the exam."

Pompous, arrogant, cranky old coach plays condescending tough guy with student reporter.

It’s what happens when coaches come to enjoy being the lauded Hall of Fame Coach (tm) more than they enjoy coaching the game. There’s a lot of that in college hoops.

One of my favorite things to do is to get drunk and reply to Duke accounts on twitter reminding them that they couldn’t make the final four with two of the top three picks in the draft
