EDIT: #8 seed Hampton won by 13 over #1 seed Savannah State. Hope Cuse players were watching. We can't let no stinking eight seed beat us.

BTW, good luck to Hampton in their conference championship game Thursday night.

I think of Rick Mahorn, who I saw play for Hampton as a freshman when I was working for a newspaper in the Norfolk-Va Beach market,and Count Basie, who I saw with his big band at Hampton in the Count's latter days. Both Rick and Basie had game.

Never seeing them because they are going to lose their play in game or because we are a Thursday team. Do we know for sure that we can't play a play in team on Thursday. For some reason I thought we couldn't play a play in team if we were the noon game or in the afternoon session, but is the evening session included as well. I was thinking that if we played in the night session next Thursday that our opponent could be from Dayton or another play in location.

I got confused because I saw the MEAC only played two games today, but then they play two more quarters tomorrow. Odd that they split it up like that. Then semis on Friday and finals on Saturday. Every conference does it a little different.

Ok, so Hampton will play next on Friday. Let's go Pirates, keep it going.

I tell you what team I hope doesnt slide to a 16 is lehigh. They will more than likely get a 15 but if they slide to a 16 I will not be happy. That team gave Kansas a scare for 30 minutes in last years tournament.
