High winds and rain in Pinehurst, NC

Did not expect this. We have power outages, many downed trees and wires. We are 2 1/2 hours from Wilmington.

Winston-Salem is about 1 3/4 hours NW of us.

Seems as if the conditions have worsened beyond the previous forecast.

Thanks. We live near the hospital so when we lose power it usually is quickly restored. Stay indoors football day! Going to watch us best WF on ACC network tonight.

Crao. Just got a flash flood warning on my cell phone. We left North Myrtle Beach to come back to Pinehurst. Might have been better off staying!
