Stumbled across this on Netflix. The main character Mia is a pre-op transsexual who is a contract killer and discovers that before she lived as a woman she fathered a child. The boys mother dies and Mia is left to try to raise the boy along with his half siblings on her own.
It stars Chloe Sevigny (who is excellent) as Mia. It is a British show and appears to have only been a 1 season deal but it really is an extraordinary show. It doesn't pull any punches on the nudity so be forewarned.
