Saw it this weekend and thought it was fun. Not amazing, but well worth watching. Delves into Hitchcock's relationship with his wife.
Never knew that Hitchcock had to mortgage his house to make Psycho. Also, entertaining to have Anthony Hopkins play Hitchcock. If you liked Silence of the Lambs, there is a tie in that makes it entertaining... Norman Bates is based on Ed Gein, who also was the partial inspiration for Jame Gumb in Silence of the Lambs. Obviously, Hopkins played Hannibal Lecter, so there you go. If you watch closely, there are some scenes where you can see a little Hannibal coming out in Hopkins' Hitchcock characterization, almost intentionally, and it works.
