I never said they were equal to Cuse. So before this whole storm occurs...there's that. You gots some splaining to do.
Toledo is reaming Buffalo...is this the same Buffalo team You felt equal to Cuse?
just giving you some friendly crap...but there is a difference between good MAC teams and average P5 teams.
UB with two late scores...putting lipstick on the pig
Meh I'd take the L and take the starters out. If Licata, Oliver, Lee/Neutz or Mack were to get injured (heavenly lord forbid)...UB would be more than done.
At this point...you have to do another onsides kick...13 pts with 5 1/2 mins gives you a chance
For the record, a week ago, it wasn't trueblue saying buffalo was equal to Cuse. It was actually Vegas.I never said they were equal to Cuse. So before this whole storm occurs...there's that.
But,
Losing this game in retrospect is a positive. As Coach has said, these kids have proved NOTHING so far. This blow out will serve as a wake up call and hopefully will reignite a fire under there asses. Really, the game that matters is the game at Ralph Wilson against Bowling Green. This game will likely be a play in for the MAC Championship.
At this point the goal for UB is a MAC championship. The first goal was bowl eligibility they attained that.
The only way I'd look at this night as a negative is if an impact player was injured, thank the lord one was not.
Toledo wanted it more. Buffalo's offense didn't wake up until the late 3rd and 4th. UB is clearly the better team, but the beauty of college sports is any team can win on any given day.I was surprised at the score of thisone as well. Any word on how Toledo matched up better in this game? Didn't see it but saw Buff playa few times this year, and play well, so I am curious.
UB is clearly the better team...
Huh? Wasn't Toledo also playing without their #1 running back...and still one by two scores.
Marrone didn't offer Licata. He didn't think he was good enough to play here. But he thought Loeb and kinder were. Obviously he's not a good judge of talent at the QB position. Licata is also better than Hunt.

Sarcasm or serious about the 'Hunt' comparison? Sorry, I can't tell.
No sarcasm, Licata was a diamond in the rough.
Licata's performed very well against OSU and well against Baylor.Licata sounds like a good young quarterback but you need to account for level of competition if Hunt and Licata are compared against each other.
Terrel Hunt - 65.5 QBR
Joe Licata - 50.4 QBR
You don't want to get into this argument.
I really don't understands what constitutes a good QBR? What does it define? Honest question. No argument. Not saying Hunt is any better than Licata. Just showing that Hunt has a higher QBR. After Saturday, he may end up lower. You never know.
