Hofmann Sausage Sponsors FSU Athletics

An unforeseen betrayal!!

They're literally eating out lunch! So be it. Something funny about the taste anyway.

could this be a way of cursing FSU somehow - seems like tube meat would be good for some arcane dark art

This is one of the best threads on your site, almost as good as the Rutgers thread. I LOL'ed at every post. Y'all are welcome to try some Smithfields if you'd like.
No thanks. Pork roast yes, hotdogs no.

I'll still be eating and enjoying the stockpile of Hofmanns I have in my freezer.

Those Empire beer brats are outstanding. And good for Hoffman’s on growing the business

Hofmann Sausage Company Sponsors Florida State University Athletics

  • Sep 3, 2018

SYRACUSE, N.Y., Sept. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hofmann Sausage Company is sponsoring Florida State University ("FSU") Athletics, specifically football, baseball, and softball for the 2018-2019 seasons. In addition to the marketing sponsorship, Sodexo, the concessionaire for Florida State University Athletics, is purchasing Beef Franks and Cheddar Beer Bratwurst, which will be sold beginning today at Doak Campbell Stadium at the start of football season and later for baseball and softball at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium and JoAnne Graf Field – all three on FSU's campus.
"We are excited to be partnering with FSU Athletics and supporting our fan base in Tallahassee and beyond by having concessions sell our amazing hot dogs and sausages," said William Hulley, Chief Operating Officer of Hofmann Sausage Company. "Hofmann products are already in many grocery stores across the state and this is a way to help our brand grow in the southeast and bring a little bit of home to Central New York transplants in Florida."

Hofmann Sausage Company is based in Syracuse, New York and is one of the oldest hot dog and sausage manufacturers in the United States - dating back to 1879. Hofmann products are available in grocery retail, big box stores, restaurants, on college campuses, and in stadiums and other venues in several states. Hofmann products are minimally processed, no MSG added, no by-products, and most are gluten-free.

Great thread but Hofmann is already a sponsor for Syracuse Athletics...

Didn't realize Hofmanns were anywhere outside CNY! This made me check their site and I found a food truck 31 miles away from me south of Dayton that sells them. Lunch road trip!
I’ll meet you there!

I can’t imagine they didn’t go to SU first. Maybe SU didn’t like the deal?
They have a huge share on the CNY market already. It is all about the most bang for the buck.

What is it with NC folks love affair with Brightleaf Hot Dogs...I grew out of bright red hot dogs when I was 8. Tobins were the best BTW...

Tobins were special. One of my brothers liked his boiled. I remember looking at the red water left behind afterwards and thinking, this can't be good. In retrospect, boiling them was probably
the best way to get the dye out of them, and keep it out of our bodies.

Red dye #2 maybe?

Red Dye #2 has now been found to have been safe all along. The cancer scares were just that, scares.

The craziest thing about the whole mess was M&Ms stopped putting red ones in the bags because they didn't want anyone to think that they used Red Dye #2 for them when red M&Ms never used Red Dye #2 in the first place. That's known as "protecting your brand." Once the scare was over, they brough the red ones back.
