The goal should be to get in FG range ASAP and then milk the clock before scoring a TD. We milked the clock at midfield. It worked out but a lot more risk in doing it that way.

Overly simple analysis of the 2nd half: we have half a dozen offensive playmakers in this game; they have two.

They're not going to be able to make enough plays on offense.

The only way this game stays close is if we turn it over 2 or 3 times.

Meeks is great at boxing out the defenders so he can make those tough catches. This guy is crawling all over him to try and stop the pass. Meeks could teach the bball team a few things about using your body to take out the defender.

Their QB has had one pass fall to the ground and it was an open TD.

He also had two INTs, one called back on a penalty. Regardless, WSU is not capitalizing on Ekhauser's hot passing hand. Check the HT stats, SU is up 14 points and offensively it is a 21 point differential. , SU cannot get arrogant, they must come out and play hard; however, SU remains in control. Enjoy the game.

Yeah, our defense has been too little blitzing, and too much "containment" in our approach. Especially when you look at how poorly we tackled, and the generally poor angles on the 2nd level by the defense.
