Don't know whether he is deliberately setting expectations lower but interesting tone from Gait. Says that there aren't stars to play off of so everyone needs to play well - implying he doesn't see much star power and the team needs a blue collar approach. He doesn't directly address loss of Hiltz i.e. tough loss etc. No mention of seniors (Curry, Dordevic etc.) looking good and showing leadership.
Lukewarm comments about goalies. Cook is the only guy that gets much praise and he calls Cook "cerebral" but says his confidence is up, implying he lacked confidence in the past?
