Was hoping to at least get the 12:30 slot. The football gods are punishing us for the 7:30 Clemson start. Just hope one of Wake/BC isn't a Nooner.

Plus it's Family Weekend. It works out for everyone as you can catch a game and spend the rest of the day with your children. This should have been the HC game, but I digress.

Regardless of how good we were there was always an excellent chance our MAC/FCS games would start at noon. Especially with other teams getting into conference play

I'm not sure what you mean? The Pitt game is designated as Family Weekend on the schedule. The Holy Cross game is "Cheer and Dance Day", if that floats your boat.

Having Clemson be the Homecoming game was very smart by SU. Coupling our most attractive home game of the season with Homecoming sold more tickets and got some lapsed alums back to campus.
