Miami kickoff: 3:30 PM on ESPN

Hoping not a noon game. We will be leaving family's house on Long Island early on Friday just in case though. Will need a good night's sleep before the trip out. Last tailgate of the year we want to be there for the entirety.

If we beat UConn, this has to be a sellout right? Please tell me John Q. Casualfan will find this game interesting.

Holiday weekend. Does that help or hurt? Students gone hurts. The highest non parents weekend game this year is 39,550 can we get another 4k with no students? I think just getting 40k will be hard enough.

Hoping for noon. Have family in town and some plans at night. Would be nice to figure this time out soon regardless, hard to plan ahead.

Hoping a UConn win bumps us into the top 25. A ranked vs ranked game may just give the game enough of a bump to fall into "event" status.

^^^^exactly this. We wont sell out unless it is an 'event'. Being ranked and playing U is a big name = event. I dont think we will be ranked with a win over UCONN. The problem is we have laid so, so many eggs the past couple decades that unless casuals see a # in front of Syracuse, it might not be enough just on the U name status to make it 'event' status without us being ranked. Winning big this weekend would help a lot for the poll possibility.

On a holiday weekend people tend to already have plans. Also it is the last week of the season. If this were two weeks earlier then sure.

No students? Right?

So the student crowd will be the same as it's been pretty much all year.

I believe there will be some 100-level seats still available to students, but the 300-level student section has tickets available for purchase by anyone for UConn and Miami as does sections 120, 121 and 122. By the way, LOTS of tix still available in all of those sections.

If this game somehow gets aired on ABC, it would be a huge honor. Almost no ACC games have been aired on ABC this season. They have gone all in on the SEC.

That said, I would love an 8 pm game. That would lead to a better tailgate (Smash burgers!), a bigger crowd and a louder dome.
nope dont want it, our record on big TV is atrocious we always get embarrassed...bad luck...run away from it please

I hear you, but at some point we're going to have to put on a good performance in a legit TV spot to counter that narrative. Can't change that perception on the CW, so we have to hope for shots.

Agree with the poster who said ABC at Noon, thought this game screamed that especially after SU won on Saturday. Would love a non nooner but I suspect that's where this is headed.

If Miami is a nooner that will be 7 of our last 8 Saturday games at noon local time. And 7 of 9 overall for the season. Is that a record?

Even worse in a rare 7 home game schedule 5 will have been Noon kicks and you can make the argument the only reason it's not six was because Stanford was a Fri night game.

It's been awful, I work till 2 on Saturdays, I've missed most of the season. I'm praying for either a 3 or 730 game. Only saving grace was I was able to sell my tickets for almost what I paid for them.

Wow. Very pleasantly surprised.

Love this. Coming up from DC with the whole family.

Ditto, I thought for sure this was ABC Noon. Ironically I think Miami not being undefeated was a huge help in the non noon kick.

South Carolina being ranked helped too. Secured that Clemson game for a TV slot to compete with Fox.

Florida - FSU getting a 7pm slot on ESPN/ESPN2 just shows that some teams will never die.
