My friends and I could only choose 3 games this year to attend and picked the 3 Saturday games - Marquette, UConn and Louisville. Listening to the build up for this game though I am now wishing we perhaps chose this game over one of the others.

Although the Gtown rivalry has not been the same since JT 2 left, the history leading into this game brings back the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat we have all felt throughout this series history. I have experienced so many of those times in the Dome - from the time JT 2 got tossed to McNabb's 10 point performance to Charles Smith drive that left us in the stands sick to our stomach etc.

I'm hoping we spend at least one more year in the Big East with a home and home next year. If the BE staff does not ensure this rivalry gets a home and home schedule for the remainder of the time SU is in the BE, they will surely show their ineptness.

Let's Go Orange - Crush the Hoyas!!!

Even if it's not the last game (OOC) it will be the last of it's kind. The last time it's Georgetown vs. Syracuse in the Dome in Big East play. It's the end of an era. This is a MUST win.

Not sure jdubs - it seems more and more likely this will not be the last year for SU in the Big East. While West Virginia is doing everything possible to leave the Big East this year, SU does not seem to be making the same moves. Of course, they could be doing things behind the scenes and we could hear something new at any time. But I'm hoping we have at least one more year in The Big East.

look at the bright side: for all eternity, the Hoyas will know that they came into the Dome for the very last time looking at SU's ass in the standings.
