Hot in the Dome

It's September in Syracuse. Dress appropriately for the Dome. Use that to their advantage.

Brutal heat and humidity in the building today. Crowd had a ton of energy despite the conditions. Concession stand in sect 319 ran out of water early in 2nd half.

Oh, the memories -- my Dad had season tix in 319 beginning in 1980, and I eventually took them over when he retired and moved out of the Syracuse area (I finally gave them up a few years back when the car died). By the way, one of the longtime board members, Consigliere is in section 319 as well. And speaking of 1980, that was previously the year of the hottest game ever in the Dome (Miami OH in the Dome opener). I would be curious to know if today was hotter? The sideline reporter gave a lot of airtime to the temperature in the Dome (she said it was 90 degrees inside).

Best seats in the house!

That Dome opener was the hottest I have ever felt.

On top of that, the cigarette smoke just hung up there at the top of the Dome.
