Six years ago, I last spoke to one of my uncles after he learned he had an inoperable brain tumor and was dying. I told him that if a life is measured by the good that you did and the people you had touched, then he'd hit a home run.
Although a fellow Westhillian, I never met Dan, but I saw the good he did and I have been touched by him. He's rounded third and he's headed for home.
Eternal rest grant onto him oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.
