You gave them a chance to catch their breath, at least call a play instead of them scrambling and racing the clock and just playing street yard football. Yeah that timeout was stupid! And I wouldn't call a 27 yard pass a "hail mary"...they were damn near in the red zone! That's just a regular play!

correct. You believe a "Hail Mary " requires lots of yardage. If the QB closes his eyes and tosses it up into quad coverage it's a Hail Mary bro. Words have meaning. Definition of a Hail Mary is a "prayer". That play was a prayer

The day was going fine until Dungey was hurt... it was exciting to watch until that point. The second half was very frustrating. Of course the second half we played with a 3rd string and walk on QB, 2nd string center, no starting WR, no starting TE, no starting hybrid... surprised we didn't move the ball? I'm not.

More of a jump ball to his WR in the end zone than a hail mary. That wasn't a hail mary pass from 27 yards

It's semantics. We've been conditioned to believe a Hail Mary means 50+ yards I'm simply saying I use it differently. Bad timeout? Sure. Result? A prayer. It's moot

Not conditioned, that's just what a hail mary is! lol. A 27 yard TD pass isn't a hail mary, it's a TD when you are near the redzone

Back to the original point, the timeout was unforgivable.

lol. I was kidding. I shouldn't have used Hail Mary.
 
Altho at the game I was pissed at the TO if you watch the replay the db's were running around clueless and the right slot was completely uncovered when the TO was called. It's not as bad a call bad as I originally believed.

And to all the HCSS haters he's the 1st coach since 91 to get us to 3-0. Good day to be Orange.
 
yea fom my seat in 308 we needed the time out badly as were were gassed and out of position and we had a safety 1 on 1 with there best wr. At that point i think we were trying to keep everything in front as any tackle short of first down ends the game and somehow they got the ball into triple coverage and caught
