The 315 telephone area code is stretched to the max, and they are considering breaking it up to add a new area code. http://www.syracuse.com/news/index.ssf/2013/06/new_area_code_coming_for_syrac.html

I propose we get the Syracuse/Onondaga County split off from the rest of 315, and designate it 444 (which is available) or 244 or 344, (also available).

Then we would have the PO address 13244 AND the area code 444.

The number 4 in Chinese honzi character looks very similar to the character for death. Therefore, 4 is a very unlucky number. Just try t et an Asian to buy a house on 4th street. In Asia however, the numbers 6 and especially 8 are lucky (not 7). I keep telling my Chinese wife that 44 is simply 8. I do not know how I would explain 444!
