How do these conference commissioners look each other in the eye at these meetings?

They are basically like the heads of the 5 families in NYC at this point. They get together, divvy up the new playoff money, talk about how happy they all are with the arrangement, then literally 2 days later, they are trying to cut the hearts out of each other. It's crazy.

All kidding aside, the only way that it makes me think is how much money is involved and how that translates into benefits for the players. Not sure what the answer there is.
