How do we lock this man up?

I don't think we should have any concerns. He seems like this will be his last stop, I don't think he wants to move his family again, the dome is his laboratory and it seems like a match made for each other. He turned other jobs to come here.

Ehhh I don't know about that. Lots of lucrative opportunities potentially opening up soon (Texas, LSU, UCLA, USC, Penn st, Oregon etc). IF one of those schools were to go after him, it would be hard to turn down.

All we can do is give him what he wants. Give him some $$$ but also give him the tools he needs to be successful and give him a fan base that cares!

I have seen it posted that he turned down other jobs to come here and I have heard DB say it as well. Is it common knowledge who he turned down or is there at least speculation? Just curious.

All those schools listed are not coming after him for one. Sure he had good success with BGSU after he was handed a championship team, it's not like he came here and turned us into special (yet).
He is in this for the long haul, take it to the bank.

I understand this argument but why wouldn't he want to stay and be the guy who turned around a program that was circling the drain? I think it's a better challenge for him here in the perfect environment for his gameplan than it would be to jump to one of those programs.

I heard a rumor that Baylor asked about him right after he was hired here and su gave him more money. If true that's a good sign

If the offense keeps exploding and we keep winning and they keep showing his adrenaline pumping lockerroom speeches on Sportscenter, yes, they will come calling eventually.

Really like what he is doing at this point but you don't "worry" about locking in a coach at this point...needle is so far going in the right direction but the guy just finished his 8th game...not his 28th game...if he is the right guy the AD and Chancellor will I'm sure put something on the table to keep him Orange...in the meantime let's keep seeing progress and uptick in recruiting...Go Cuse!

Missouri

Thanks! I live outside of STL now and man they could use him. They STINK! Lost to MTSU today. I know they are a decent program, but you cant be a SEC school and lose to them at HOME.

Lol baylor is so full of crooked money with all due respect, i doubt we outbid them

Give him the resources he needs to reshape the program [Dome reno, facilities upgrades, locker room, etc. -- many of which are already underway].

Give him the $$$ to keep his assistant coaches happy.

Remove any obstacles Dino views as being impediments, if you're the AD, and then get out of the way.

Yeah I don't know if it's true. I looked up salaries and briles was making 2.5 and so is Dino now.

I think Babers likes the idea of the Dome and turning a program around that has been down but has some meaningful history. I think he wants his story to be a redemption story.
Yeah I think the dome is the main thing. It's A dream come true for someone who runs the offense he does. 1/2 your games with zero wind or weather. He did his research when he chose to come here

Rutgers found their QB today. They will find their way to mediocrity.

Dazzler is almost out bedazzling magic.

UConn is stuck with Diaco ... No way they can afford a buyout.

How short is Franklin's leash at PSU?

I'm fairly certain he's locked in for the next 3 years. After that depends upon Wildhack & Sevyrud who I have faith in to get it done and the Dome redo. Dino loves the Dome just maybe not the locker rooms. I think it depends upon if he thinks and can get the recruits he needs to get him in the playoffs. Devito helps in a big way - he just needs more recruits like him to join the team.

If that day comes I hope it's after a 10 win season / ACC title year. Not going 8-4 and jumping at the first offer like our one contract point guards do.
