How has the ACC helped SU?

I remember that game in 2004, seems that FSU racked up a lot of yards, but not a lot of points to show for it. I was watching from home.


I think the final score was something like 18-14, and Syracuse had a drive late in the game deep into FSU territory, but fumbled the ball down near the goal line. (I was off by a couple points... here's the recap.) I was at that game. We definitely should have won, even Bobby Bowden agreed.
