Finishing between 15 - 20 is fantastic. Win this one. End the year ranked. Maybe be in the 20-25 range to start next year. Beat Tenny, shoot up to like #10. Win the title.

I would say Top 20, and with an impressive win, maybe close to Top 15.
That would be a hell of an accomplishment for a new coach in his first season.

Depends on the size of the loss.
If you're a 10-12th rated team in the playoff, and you lose by 30-40 points, you're going to drop, maybe by a lot.

We ended 2018 with a 10-3 record and went from #17 to #15 in the final AP poll. That amount of movement seems about right to me if we catch some breaks. Will be surprised at anything lower than #19 in final poll.

That 2018 year was something else, we finished higher than five other teams with 10+ wins that year

Will beating an 8-4 Washington St even move the needle? I suppose by attrition SU will jump up a little and 10 wins is always a wonderful thing to do and to add to that SU's in the ACC so that automatically puts them at the lowest ranking of the P4 with 10 wins.

Curious what other schools have an OCC TRUE road win vs a Top 25 team.

If Cuse wins by 10+ pts I see them moving between 16-19. Number 15 is an outside possibility. The Pitt game IMHO has hurt our ranking a lot.

My best guess is we can move up into the top 20 with a win. Couple of things about our schedule that likely aren't considered because voters don't take the time to do any research are: We played only one team that finished below 500 (Stanford 3-9). We played 10 teams that are headed to bowls this year. We went 8-2 against teams headed to bowls.
