How in the hell is Louisville not closer to top 4

Washington is losing tonight and if A&M loses then all Louisville needs is for Michigan to win out and they are in.

They almost lost to 2 bottom wrung acc teams Virginia and duke
Well if you want to count "almosts" they almost, and should have beaten Clemson, not to mention, the absolutely dismantled a talent laden Florida State team. Ohio State however, loses to an unranked Penn State, and sits in a good position to make the final 4. Louisville is the truth...sorry.

I think you guys are really sleeping on Washington. They have one of the best QB/RB combos in the nation in Browning and Gaskin and are lead by one of the best CFB coaches out there. Solid team top to bottom.

They are scary good.

They should have beaten Clemson.

I have a future bet on Louisville to win the National Title at 65/1...that 4th down play where the WR went out of bounds haunts my dreams.

Louisville is the best team in college football in my opinion (on a neutral field). I hope they get the chance to prove it.

I so hope OSU loses to Michigan, and then Michigan loses in th BiG championship. The idea that either team has an edge on Louisville for the playoff is ludicrous. Michigan is good, but their strength of schedule is...eh. Ooooooooo...they beat Sparty.

Would love this scenario.

penn state is number 12 by the committee and that was on a blocked fg return. Louisville is one of the top 4 teams in the country though

How do we know this? They play no one.

I can't argue their strength of schedule...it isn't great. Albeit I don't think @Utah and @Wash St are necessarily easy games.

They're on ESPN tonight at 10:30 @Cal. Cal isn't a great team but they've torn it up at home this year. Check them out!

Disclaimer: I went to the Apple Cup last year in Seattle. Got drunk on a boat that took us right up to the gates of the stadium. Had the time of my life and it really made me envious of their game day experience. So yes, I am biased...but believe whole heartedly that they can compete with anyone.

Ohio state has to lose for them to get into the discussion. My fear is that if OSU loses to Nebraska, The Huskers pole vault up the rankings.

Best scenario is Nebraska wins tonight (doesn't look promising) and the Huskers fall @ Iowa. Let Michigan win out.

Lville is probably better than Clemson. As good on defense, much more dynamic on offense.

The ACC is Clemson and Lville, and then a pile of teams in the middle, VT, FSU, Miami, UNC, NCSt, Pitt, I think SU is verging on entering the group in the middle, they will definitely be there next year.

Next step is to separate form BC, UVA, Wake, Duke, GT.

Louisville is rooting like crazy for Kentucky as tough as that must be for them to stomach.

I'm not confident Texas A&M is in that group after today.

No shame in losing in Starkville even if in a 'down' year for Miss St. SEC still is tough. I think Arkansas has played great all season but they are 6-3. We would lose by 30 in Starkville, IMO.
