this is the best news of the day. Seth hasn't picked a game correct yet. They even have a bit on the pregame show called "Seth's kiss of death"Was just listening to Fox Sports Radio about 30 mins ago and Seth Davis picked Ohio State too.
Said they won't even bother chucking up threes and will just pound it inside.
Also, Jimmy Dykes was just saying on Sportscenter how Aaron Craft will be the guy locked down on our "hot" guard. Problem there is that we have a few different guards that are capable of getting the hot hand, and he really can't lock down both. As long as we drive to the hoop, and stay patient by not jacking up silly 3's, I feel like we could be ok tonight...
I respect Craft a lot and think he's a great defender; but Dion would school him. Also, who says Craft will necessarily be Dion's (or any other guard's Kryptonite)? I like our chances in a Waiters/Craft matchup.

Tea, anyone?Just like Royal Ivey was supposed to lock down Carmelo, haha
Big 12 or national defensive player of the year i dont remember.
instead he is on a poster in what looks to be a very uncomfortable position
Wisconsin had that reputation of terrific, stifling defense and we got to the rim at will. OSU has by far better athletes than Wisconsin, but they don't play defense nearly as well.Big10 defense is a bit of a farce especially pressure on ball d. I mean who in that league worries you off the bounce? Seriously we hacked up Wisci's guys off the bounce and tonight will be no different IMO. I think we also get more in transition against OSU. Lots of pick n roll to lift and move Sullinger. They aren't a real shot blocking team which is also good for our guards and forwards. I am not worried about them being able to consistantly penetrate the zone either. To me Sullinger against Rak and Baye is a huge advantage as is their ability to rebound but we have plenty of advantages ourselves.

Triche has been sloppy lately with the ball and Scoop dribbles way too high, Craft will bother them a lot. Fortunately, I believe he'll be on Waiters and I think Dion can handle it.The key is how you attack Craft. His reputation as a solid on-the-ball defender is deserved, plus, Craft gets away with a lot--they let him reach / slap / grab at the ball indiscriminately without blowing the whistle--that's the advantage of having a rep as a great defender. But Cashmere Wright showed how NOT to go at him, overdribbling on the perimeter, trying to get too fancy to shake him off, etc.
When the lane opens, boom--take it and overpower his slight a$$ en route to the hole.

Greg Anthony pretty much said this at halftime of the D2 championship game. He said we might be the best team off the bounce in the tourney; and although Craft is superb, he can only guard 1 guy at a time.Craft is one guy, and unless he pulls out go-go gadget arms, he can only guard one of our guys at a time. We have several that can drive to the hoop
