Never been to one but the added draw on the Lax game (also never been) prior as well as the mystery surrounding this years team really has me considering it. May take a bit of convincing to Mrs IO to come up from PA since our son will be 7 weeks old (obviously wouldn't be taking him to the game) but it also falls 2 days prior to my birthday and with family in Bingo I may able to pull it.

My questions would be; how many board members here plan on attending? and does anyone do a Spring Game tailgate where I would have a chance to meet and share a few pregame beers with some of the board faithful? Been invited to the Fine lot prior but on gamedays I'm a Skytop dweller coming in from Bingo.

Always depends upon the kids schedules. Soccer and AAU basketball.

All the west campus lots are usually free for the Spring game.

My excuses in this order:

1) The Carrier Dome doesn't have enough of an "on-campus feel"
2) We should build that stadium in Phoenix out by Carrier Circle
3) There are only 500 spots for a large tailgate.
4) Those spots are more than 50 feet from the entrance.
5) Stairs? What is this, Mexico?
6) I live more than 60 minutes away.
7) It's Bush's fault
8) I live in D.C.

Oh I get it. Practice black out builds curiosity which drives attendance to 10 to 12 grand for spring game. I assume black out necessarily ends with Rochester scrimmage.

Number 7 has been resolved. It's now Obama's fault.

Don't let that stop you. My wife and I "accidentally" brought our 3-week old baby to the season opener in 1983. (Ugly win over Kent State with 5 field goals and one touchdown). Our rendevous with friends in Syracuse didn't work out, so we all ended up going to the game.

No, I missed the announcement the first time and since have been invited to jump off a bridge.

I am going. I hope they turn the lights on and have the players wear numbers on their jerseys...

I'll be there. It'll be nice to finally see some football this spring. I have the itch.

I'm going. I have been to every spring game for the last 6 or 7 years. I am especially interested in seeing Ashton Broyld.

I plan to be there...Mrs. ALL4SU may make an appearance as well.

The spring games are entertaining and the lacrosse games are very fun. A very worthwhile day, and I will be there.
