The coach put him in instead of Money ( Mahoney ) . He is a passer and that is what this offense needs . Of course ED starts if he's cleared .

Dino and his staff evaluated AET and offered a scholarship for him to play here. That's the difference.

No other team that is competing for bigger things needed a WR of his ability , Maryland couldn't use him ? Do you not support Dino's decision to go with Wilson before Mahoney ? That is what is the question here . I would like to see what Baber's could get out of Wilson if that is the case .

This is what I was wondering, sorry. I was confused by your reference to AET in terms of this situation. I know many of us felt disappointed that Mahoney was not the choice, but I agree with you in terms of it being Dino's choice who he feels gives us the best shot at the W.

We new going in that Clemson was not going to let us throw deep.. They play 2 safeties most of the time. They create pass rush with 4 down lineman. They have speed all over the back end.

We were going to try and nickel dime it around all game. I dont think the QB issue changed the game plan all that much so to blame Wilson because all we threw were short passes is blaming him for what happened in the past.

Did he throw it accurate and on time is the question and I dont think many here really watched the game closely to tell. He made some nice throws despite the reports he was awful.

This is another really bad thread. God bless the kid, but he just isn't going to get it done at this level. Debating it is just insane and really futile. I have seen enough to realize the stage and the game is too big for him at this level. Good lord. The game just moves too fast for him, There are plenty of guys out there with nice throwing arms, BFD. Mahoney may not throw the ball as well but he has at least demonstrated the leadership and skill set to win at this level to a certain extent, sure he's limited but he at least has some moxy and leadership skills Game plan around it and try to win. Wilson gives us zero zero shot

I trust Dino and Lewis to put the guy in that gives us the best chance to win. I don't know who that is.

But I do know that he's been buried on the depth chart for a reason and that AET and Wilson don't share anything meaningful in common.

Well , he just might end up being the starting QB the rest of the season .
