They seem to have improved a ton this season - curious as to what their talent looked like as compared to ours when Dino took over here? IF we want to be #2 in our division we need to watch them very closely. That guy knows what he is doing and I think it won't take 4 years.

UL has a half dozen skill guys on offense that we never seem to be able to bring in.. fast big WRs,

2 very athletic Qbs that will give you trouble and also spend half the game wondering why they are QBs as they make mistake after mistake.

I dont know that they have gotten any better but the whole league has settled on a vert inconsistent level of play other than Clemson.. we can only hope BC and UL make so many mistakes on D as they did last sat when they play us.

UL looks like most of the middle of the ACC... lots of talented athletes who aren't as adept at playing football. FSU, NC State, etc. all fit the same bill. SU could have an advantage here, if we played smarter (see: penalties, tons of them).

The whole "change the culture" thing can be real (see Marrone, Doug taking over for Robinson, Greg), or it can just be coach speak.

In the case of Satterfield taking over for Petrino, yeah, it's step 1 thru 10. There is talent on that roster. Petrino was a hot mess who completely lost that team.

The talent was a lot better, they've recruited quite well. I think their new coach is very good. They will be a tough out this year.

Nothing more than the middle to bottom of the ACC is really good despite the lack of a #2 or #3 after Clemson so when you lose it as a program you aren’t winning.

Same thing happened to us Dino’s first two years when Dungey went down that happened to Ville last year. BC was winless. GT isn’t winning a league game this year.

Ville was lucky to escape BC at home last week. My guess would be the wheels come off soon.
