I personally don't see it happening but anyone not want to see him get an opportunity to win the lottery.
Can't see St Peter's offering GMac the job. Let Cuse make Red HCIW if they don't want him to leave. Why would he take a paycut to become a midmajor HC when if we are going to go internal he would be the odds on favorite.
Red would be stupid to take a HC like St. Peter’s. Let GMac get this job.
I'd feel very good about it.I personally don't see it happening but anyone not want to see him get an opportunity to win the lottery.
I wouldn't be surprised if Holloway was already negotiating a deal with another school. I have no way of knowing. I'll have to ask Tauren Thompson's mom. I know they are really close.St Peter’s was pretty much ranked the worst job in the MAAC. Poor facilities, low budget. What Holloway is doing is absolutely incredible. It is not sustainable and is still not a good job. Once Holloway leaves I assume most kids to jump into the portal. Also, Holloway. What’s the saying? HE GONE
If Red leaves before the JB decision is made he's crazy.
800k to a million. It’s not happening.I think I saw something that said Holloway makes ~300K at St. Peters.
So there's the baseline. What does Red make at SU?
Given that his job will be coming to an end after next season, it might be a smart move for him to explore.
I think you are a bit high on a what Red makes at SU. Most recent year that is available is 2020, but if he made that much, he'd be on the Form 990 of the top 5 earners, which are shown on page 16 of this link.800k to a million. It’s not happening.
Fair enough. I do know that earnings coming from media obligations are not counted on form 990. I’ll say 700-800 k then.I think you are a bit high on a what Red makes at SU. Amazing Masiello is still head coach there. He hasn't had a winning record in the MAAC in eight seasons.I always thought Red's first head coach job would be at Manhattan.
Still think that's a bit high after looking at some salaries for public institutions. Orlando Antigua made 850K at Kentucky and he was reportedly the highest paid in the country. I would be surprised if Red was in that ballpark and I woud hope for better recruiting results if he was.Fair enough. Not counting THAT chicken before it hatches! LOLI think I saw something that said Holloway makes ~300K at St. Peters.

Given that his job will be coming to an end after next season, it might be a smart move for him to explore options, but not sure that this is the right opportunity.
