And I agree 100% that we can't reload like Duke / UK.  For decades, our program was built landing quality program guys who fit the system and were above average college players, and the staff surrounded that foundation with a sprinkling a guys [Dion, Flynn, Greene, Carmelo, etc.] who were sure fire pros.

In recent years, we've gotten away from that a bit, and landed guys who were good enough to declare and make the jump, but generally not good enough to transform the program because they weren't transcendent talents like the ones going to Duke / UK.  That's left gaping roster holes.  Would like to see us land a lot more four year guys who can play, and be more choiceful about the early entrants we bring in.

Not in terms of the recruiting rankings, but I wonder if we would have been better off landing a guy like Alex Tyus--who was a three year starter at PF on some good Florida teams--instead of a Donte Green, who was gone in one season.  Or a Monte Morris in Ennis's class.  Both guys who really wanted to come here.  Those guys would have changed the program's curve in recent years.
