yesterday I think during gameday. they got beat by more than 30 points against FSU. take off the baby blue glasses bud. ESPN needs to find unbiased analysts.

OSU, Kentucky, and UNC were and still remain the sexy pics as the "Elite" teams in America. Basically because we don't have an "offensive dude" AKA go-to-guy on offense. Oh well, hopefully the team can continue to play the no respect card and use it as motivation for the remainder of the season.

Maybe sexy but I doubt many here will pick otherwise in them getting to the Final Four when all those office pools are out come March. :)

The way we rebound, NC would kill us on the offensive boards. That is there one strength.
way UNC plays against zones, I wouldn't mind seeing the Orange play them at all. With fab of course.

While I agree with the premise that ESPN's analysts are poor, if I were forced to pick one team today, I'd still go with UNC as well, largely bc of Barnes but they are talented and experienced. That does not mean I would not love to see SU - UNC and also think SU's d would trouble them, but they started the year in many eyes (including mine) as the clear #1. They are clearly no longer that, but 1 of 5-6 teams grouped close together, but I'd pick them if forced to bet on one team to win it all.

Lets see the same intensity over the course of more than 2 games. Hes making it sound like they have completely figured it out and it will never happen again.

They were the clear #1 based on potential and he was basically saying they are #1 right now based on potential moving forward. They've already proved that they can't play together a fine-tuned team. They are loaded with lottery picks, but it hasn't mattered thus far so I don't why he thinks it will.

Call me biased if you want, but I think SU with Fab is the #1 team in the country.

UNC is a hard team to judge. After they got hammered, there was a graphic that no team has lost that badly and later got to Tue final four.
They had some nice out of conference wins early, but that didst always mean much. The ACC is just so awful its hard to judge whether they've pulled it together or whether the competition is that bad.

Unfortunately the Big East is pretty bad too, but with Fab back I really like our chances.

UNC looks like the best team when they play well. I think loosing Strikland hurts because he was the backup PG and that offense really revolves around Marshall pushing and setting things up. It doesn't mean they can't win it all just means that their chances aren't as good.

The thing that bothers me about UNC is that FSU game. I the basically quite in that game. They got killed but it was more than that, it was the lack of fight by their main guys that really was bothersome. You have to wonder about them when things start to go bad against a good team in the tourny.
