Didn’t it say “without charges”?It’s by a plea, with an agreed upon punishment.

Faulty sobriety test?Looking more and more like they should have ended his time at WVU with the homophobic comments. They gave him rope on that ordeal and backed him as their coach. Now he screws up again and...
The whole DUI will be resolved thing is puzzling. No one has said the report of him blowing a .21 was inaccurate or that he wasn't driving. So as for it being "resolved", when it is not his first DUI offense- sounds questionable and a little shady i.e. celebrity special treatment from how it's framed.
Did you read the thread? The fans don't want him back. He will never coach at WVU again. The question is only after this nonsense, will he ever be honored at WVU again? Also isn't it in his best interest to resign?
He's probably never moving from Morgantown and if the interim coach does poorly they probably rehire him next year and do some song and dance about how he went to rehab and is all better etc.
Wait till the Pitt police release the video. That won't go well for BH. Plus, once the national media arrives in WV, can you imagine all the y will find under the rocks there about BH?Faulty sobriety test?
FYI, this is a photo I took a few days ago from a video that is playing at the basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. I can’t believe they used this interview in the video. Huggins looks horrible.
Someone who has been drinking that long is never completely rehabilitated.I read that he had “completed” rehab, and now thinks he’s ready to be reinstated because he says he never “resigned”. Pretty short rehab. crazy stuff.

If this was like a job search, no one would have this much criticism over it.If Jesse wanted to stay and ignore the money, he could have/would have. He’s 23, he didn’t have to listen to his father. At 23 parents are there to provide guidance and advice, not make decisions. If Jesse is immature and let his father make the decision then he didn’t want to really stay that bad.
Wonder what complications there are for getting a DWI in a state that you don’t live in? Arrested in Pa but lives in WV.Didn’t it say “without charges”?
Oh yeah, I saw that photo. Oh wait, sorry, I must have been thinking of one of the Spilotro brothers getting beaten and buried alive in CasinoFYI, this is a photo I took a few days ago from a video that is playing at the basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. Blackout
He always dressed like he was from WVaIt's sad, really. Prior to all of this stuff in recent months, I actually liked Huggy Bear. Mainly because he wore sweatsuits all along while other coaches used to wear suits.
He was too drunk to sign the letter !Seems to be a letter/statement confirming the resignation. I don’t think this would survive summary judgment.
If BH sued, claiming his wife sent the letter/text, WVU should sue the wife for damages.
He’s a selfish POSHim not going out like a man is soft
Exactly. Money grab. Pure and simple. This simply seems like an attempt to collect his $5 million (or whatever his salary for the 2023/2034 season) and nothing more.
Lawyers using the technicality that he never signed a letter of resignation which was specifically required by the agreement - and that he was permitted under the agreement to announce his "resignation" in other ways without actually technically resigning. Since he didn't sign a letter, he can now claim a breach or wrongful termination of some sort.
Some pure BS stuff, but it may work. Makes all parties look silly.
The real amateur lawyer in me, thinks if WVU had simply outright terminated him after the incident, for breaching whatever morality clauses were in his amended contract they would probably 100% be in the clear. There would be no grounds for any buyout or any settlement. But they tried to at least give some dignity to Huggins on the way out, and now it could bite them in the ass.
Does Jesse have a relationship with his dad like Joe did, where the dad works as de facto manager? If Jesse wanted to stay and ignore the money, he could have/would have. The DA in Pittsburgh should recind the plea deal, and have him brought back to spend some time in jail. Also - question will be how far and how long does the damage go/last from this saga continuing...

It wouldn't surprise me given the complexities of international NIL. If that's the case, I get why as fans we're mad, but I can see why Jesse wouldn't go against pops.
