Good to hear. He needed to get right and WV needed to move on after what transpired. Hope he truly is better going forward whatever he is doing during that time.

I have a buddy who’s struggling with drinking and specifically drinking and driving. He’s probably the most educated person I’ve ever met and even nicer guy.

That said he got into a situation that’s not good and luckily didn’t have an effect on his career, he’s doing great now, lost a lot of weight, not drinking and he’s on the right path.

It truly is and illness and it is easy to hammer Huggins, I’m not saying he or even my buddy are above the law or deserve special treatment, or even sympathy, that said, I’m very happy Huggins hasn’t had a drink since the incident and seems to be on a better path. I’m not advocating for him to coach again or be made a hero, but it is a big deal for someone who has his history to be able to do this.
