How about the pass to Broyld against NC State that kicked off a TD drive? That was a beautifully thrown ball. Perhaps his issue is that once we hit the ACC schedule, the game picked up speed on him and he has not progressed to the point where it has slowed down for him? This might explain why he looked so good against Wagner and Tulane and so poor since (I am only talking about his passing as I think he is still a pretty good running QB). I think this is fairly common with athletes who are in their first year of starting in college (or pro, for that matter). You see this quite often with guys who seem to have a quantum leap in performance from one year to the next. What do you see that others are not seeing? Meaning looking at the numbers the last three games they have been historically bad. In the last three games he hasn't shown any flashes with his arm. Meaning not one time did he spin a ball and said I WOW There is a next level throw. He can run sure but that isn't enough to make it in this league. Things you can't really teach is what I see lacking in Hunt. I am just curious as to what I am missing and why you still hold him in high hopes?
I still think he has a lot of upside potential. Even McPherson, Graves and McNabb had their struggles their first year, they just had better teams around them, particularly at the WR position.
