I’m curious about number 44

I saw Floyd a few times in Archbold when my Dad took me to games when I was in grade school.
An older brother graduated from LeMoyne in 1967. My mom would take me and another brother out to visit (from Albany area). My first introduction to SU football. Saw Little (and Csonka) play a few times in Archbald. Then I enrolled at SU in 1969; the rest is history.

Only the best and brightest enrolled at SU in the Fall of 1969;)

The first SU football game I remember was listening to the SU- UCLA game in 1963 on the radio while my mother was driving when I was around 6th or 7th grade. She accidentally turned it on and I asked her if she could keep it on. She reluctantly did over my sister’s protests. It was a special day because we were all the way in Liverpool (we lived in Syracuse) and she stopped at Heid’s for hot dogs which was an unusual and awesome treat. She said we could eat in the car but when we were done, we would turn the radio to a different station. We killed them 29-7. I was already a big SU basketball fan (listening again on the radio) and figured we had to be very good to beat UCLA football in California since they had such great basketball teams.

#44 rob konrad never really delivered the mail here or in the pros IMO.
maybe should have given him #34 or #39. zonk's numbers. not #44.
i'd be in favor of giving it to TUCKER to get it back into the realm it deserves.
better competition is ahead but basically right now HE IS THE OFFENSE.
if he can dance his way to an all ACC honor this season...suit him up.
