I’m hoping Tommy is studying Josh Allen

If we didn’t offer Dungey and he ends up at Wyoming, I wonder where that puts Allen?

Allen and Dungey are very similar QBs. Allens clearly a much better passer, but they’re ability to extend plays, not afraid to get hits, penchant for hurdling defenders and just knack for making big plays is something special that you can’t teach. These are the type of guys you want playing QB. The statue pocket passer QB is a thing of the past.
Dungey's college passing stats were better than Allen's and he played in a much more difficult conference on one of the weaker teams in that conference.

Yep, and Allen is looking at signing a 250 million plus contract in the next year, Dungey is contemplating cash versus accrual base accounting for some Landscaper in Lake Oswego, OR.

What does that have do the facts? Allen got a good break and Dungey didn't. That's life.

lol The the poster never said anything about comparing Tommy to J Allen. Simply said he hopes he learns something by watching him. So some of you don't understand what he is saying. With that said, Tommy can learn something from any QB that extend plays and throws outside the pocket. That's a trait that is needed for any QB. Athletic or not.

Josh Allen lost the playoff game at Houston last year because of dumb decisions and almost lost the game last week because of dumb decisions.

Yep every headline is definitely Bills win despite Josh Allen...lol

He's gonna have to show me against the Ravens. Any mistakes in that game will be costly.

Nick Wright is that you?
I am big Patriots fan. Ironically, living is WNY I've continued to care about the Bills and wished them well. I dont know how anyone cant appreciate the maturity of Josh Allen. Kid is 24 years old and has played a huge role in changing a organization. He's gotten better each year and has made less mistakes. Won his first playoff game. He is fun to watch. Top 2 or 3 QB in the league right now. No need to hate, just enjoy watching great young players. Josh Wright is ridiculous with his hate but I get it. That's what he's paid to do. It makes people watch him.

Lol ok bud...
Are you telling me that when the Bills were in field goal range and could have taken time off the clock to virtually cinch the game, Allen takes a 20 yard sack and give the Colts new life you weren't saying What Josh? And he fumbled the ball, luckily the Colts didn't recover.

Sure he isn't perfect but the overall body of work has been there this year. Just to say all of that is out the window and doesn't mean anything is just dumb. Besides Lamar Jackson isn't perfect by a long shot either.

Agree 100%. It's a joke with regard to Wright and I understand that is what he gets paid to do. Allen was fantastic Saturday and pretty much carried the bills the entire game.

He's been pretty damn close this year ( sans 3-4 games midway) and agree 100%. The last 5-6 games have been incredible

My original response to a poster who said that Allen is a better passer than Dungey was that Dungey's college passing stats were better than Allen's. That's a verifiable fact. I would like to see the Bills win a superbowl, in order to do that, Allen is going to have to make a jump. Will he? We'll find out.

Have you been living under a rock all season. I'm not even a Bills fan, but can tell you the reason they took a jump this season is because of Allen's play. Allen won't need to take a jump to beat the Ravens, but just play his normal game because he's been one of the best QBs in the NFL all season.

I read somewhere that a possible reason for the jump that Allen has had this season is because there are no fans in the stands. He gets too amped up and makes crazy decisions when playing in front of a crowd in pressure situations. I doubt this is the reason but it is interesting to think about the players who might perform better without the fans in the seats. I hope it is the opposite with our players next year :)

Eric was outstanding at SU. He's not Josh Allen and most likely never will be.

If I had a better GPA than Elon Musk, does that mean I'll be more successful than him?

It's a simple concept. Eric Dungey's passing stats in college were better than Josh Allen's across the board. That's the only metrics of comparison we have to analyze. It does not take Elon's IQ to reach that conclusion.

Allen can throw the ball 75 yards with the flick of his wrist

There are a lot of guys who can do that but are terrible QB's. There have been a lot of guys who can't go that and were great QB's. I hope Josh leads the Bills to a win this weekend.

Allen was drafted top 10, Eric was not. There must have been something the pros saw that you missed.

I get it, I enjoy your contrarian rifs from time to time, but you're just being silly on this one.
