If Babers and staff can't recruit better than what we have over the last 20 years or so, results will largely be the same.  They just will.  You can have an outlier 10 win season once a decade with less talent (out perform), but the other years will likely be the same 4-7 win variety.

There's a reason that Alabama and Clemson are the teams that they are.  Put Saban on the Orange sidelines with the same talent that we have now and he too would eventually be run off.  Put Coach K somewhere that doesn't have boosters purchasing players, he too would look less "amazing".  We can't expect to be much better than what we've seen on the field for years without a significant upgrade in talent.

The last couple of years have shown as clear as day how our former beast warrior (Dungey) single handedly won games.  He made up for mediocre offense.  He made up for mediocre talent around him.  We no longer have that crutch, and we're seeing it now.

That all said, I still have faith.  Why not?  I still bleed Orange!
