That's my point. This is not last years defense. Its bunch of 18 and 19 year olds. lol we already knew this going into the season. We a bunch a new players. They are not going to be consistently good. Im not suprised at all.

Yeah and Rush improved tremendously last year ... threw for over 500 in a bowl game. Last year's D would have still have a tough time with this team, not to the same degree but they wouldn't have repeated last year's performance I can guarantee you that. Rush is far better this year than he was when we played them last year.

Thats a good point. Rush is alot better since last game. The team in general is better since then. Didnt think of that.

Our safeties are terrible and our CB's get manhandled all game. Watch the 4Q play again where the CMU TE chucks Morgan 5 yards out of bounds then makes the catch and the other third down catch (I know there were an awful lot) where Winfield gets pushed out of bounds and held by their WR as the RB blows past. We have a bunch of tweeners back there who's technique and tackling are poor IMHO. That's on the coaches.
