You could see something was wrong on that landing. The replay gave me that slightly ill feeling in my gut. Sure SU ball is my thing but this is a life changing injury for a 18/19 year old guy. I hope Chris can be tough minded and come back better no matter how long it takes and no matter where it is, here or the NBA

Very bad break for him, and for us.

Hope he can recover and bounce back strong.

Best case scenario it was a dislocated knee..,worst case it's a complete tear. It definitely didn't look good. Maybe it surprises us all and was just a really bad strain. Hope he gets back to 100%.

I think he'll have to come back. Can't imagine anyone drafts him now, especially with the way he was struggling pre injury.

If it's an ACL, he has plenty of recovery time before next season.

No way he's not done for the year. It was pretty bad looking. I guess Boeheim will get his wish.

McCullough will likely return next season if he can't play the rest of the year. It's pretty evident from continuous post game bashing that Boeheim thinks McCullough is nowhere near ready to depart for the NBA.

Having that belief and wishing a kid a season-ending injury are two totally different things.

I just find it strange how a number of leg and knee injuries seem to happen on what seems like benign jumps and lands, even when not on another player. Why is this? In this case, maybe Chris rolled his ankle upon landing which caused his whole leg to buckle? There are many players who run and jump all the time and are fine. Just seems weird. Hoping for the best with McC. Get well soon! Your team needs you!

I refuse to watch any injury replays. I just can't do it.

Hoping for the best for him!

Me neither. Grossed me out as a kid. Especially ankles and knees. Nothing has changed since after ankle reconscruction, tibial osteotomy, micro fracture, 2-3 meniscus and, this past Tuesday, the first of my knee replacements. When they replay juries I will hum and look away

This might change the destiny of this team for the better over the next 2 or 3 years.
If he is out for the season, he won't be leaving the program anytime soon unless his career is over.
AND, who knows, maybe Coleman comes back now & shocks the world!

To be honest, CMAC was not comfortable enough to be a star yet, & it's obvious. We can see his potential, but he often plays like a deer in the headlights.
I see Cooney & Gbinije joining forces with Christmas to rock the ACC right now, & it's only gonna get better. At the outset, I thought Cuse would hover around the middle of the ACC & give us a little anxiety on Selection Sunday, but I see them vying within the top 5 & securing a solid bid between 5 - 7, & we'll be shipped out west as the ACC envoy to a PAC 12 squad in the second round, although a 5-12 matchup in the first round might prove too dangerous for us.

I know it's saying an AWFUL lot, but this post is quite possibly the most abhorrent I've seen in a very long time. Nice job, dude

Just because Boeheim was badgering him during his PCs, doesn't mean he wanted CM to tear his knee up. JB cares deeply about his players, regardless of the "mean, old man" approach he takes with them.

My daughter got sick as well. Went a little woozy after Chris' injury and then I noticed her lips were white. Not a good look for her! Got her some water and she eventually felt better.

Was it DaJuan who helped escort Chris from the floor to the locker room? I thought it was, although I haven't read a post mentioning it. Whoever it was, that was such a great display of brotherhood, but if it was DaJuan, it put a lump in my throat.

It was the walk-on who helped him off. Glad you're daughter is feeling better. That replay was brutal.

Doyin Akintobe-Adeyeye.

this is going to turn out to be the best thing that happened to that kid. He wont feel that way for years. But one day he will look back and realize it.
