In January he couldn’t take the chance of losing JG mentally (by benching him) because he still needs 2 ball handlers. Now - eh less downside. If JG doesn’t accept new role and hangs his head we only have a few more games and can begin looking for another ball handling guard for next year.

Good point

I thought JG was serviceable last year, this year he took a step back, added too much weight which has hurt his quickness/slowed him down and doesnt seem to be as deadly from 3

Hope he can accept a role that is there for him
