I had just left the hospital

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. You'll be in my prayers this weekend.

So sorry for your loss.

Thank you all. She wet quickly, broke her hip a week earlier. But she had an autoimmune disease for 15 years, the strong drugs left her weak, she just got home from the hospital/rehab a month earlier. Her greatest fear was having to live in a nursing home. She avoided that so I am happy about that. Maybe it hasn't totally hit me yet but I'm ok. Have a good Facebook support system, a lot of real life friends and you guys here. I don't post much cause by the time I read the threads mostly everything has been said, better than I could but I am a long time participant and reading the posts are some highlights of my days. Thanks again.

Travelled on the subway and got out at the garden when I got the message my mother passed away. I thought about going to the game as I couldn't do any more for her but decided not to piss off her roommate forever. So the guys won this one for her. I'll catch it a few days from now. Seemed like a nail biter.

So sorry to hear of your loss. You made the right decision. She must have divinely inspired KJo to turn it on at the end. Was she an SU fan?

No she hated sports but was happy for my sake when they won. When I was young and we'd go to Mets games with my sports nut dad she'd root for the other team. Embarrassing! She loved to tease.
